If you’ve never heard it, you should google it or youtube it. It talks about love gone wrong but their is another message I heard while listening today. I’m a HUGE fan of anything ol’skool and love related–my husband calls me a big hopeless and helpless romantic :)

Anyway, I heard a message that speaks to many people on many levels. The message of situations and life circumstances that hurt so bad the only way you can describe them is by saying, “it hurts like hell.” That hurt goes beyond just feeling hurt. It’s the type of pain that wakes up with you in the morning and beside you at night. It could be the loss of a great lover, the loss of a child or family member. It could be an unrealized dream or a shattered desire. The common thread is that we’ve all at some point experienced such unexplainable pain.

I’m not typing to win you over with the words of Christ nor am I writing to say put all your trust in the Lord. Though you already know He’s the answer. I’m writing to remind you that hurt knocks at everyone’s door in life. I’m writing to remind you that it’s a process we must all go through which highlights the greatest hope their is in life that promises to take all of this world’s pain away, even the kind that hurts like hell. Let the tears fall. Let the pain have its place for the day. But don’t let it live there. Hurt should not live there every day.

Aretha goes on to sing, ” sometimes it hurts to bad to laugh,” but sometimes it hurts even when you’re laughing—that’s the hell. Believe that even in hurt their is purpose. Believe that suffering in this world cannot compare with the glory in the next. This life shall end, but eternal life is forever. When it hurts like hell be thankful that’s as close to it as you’ll ever get and give thanks for the Cross.

Maybe you’ve spent the last three, four or ten years trying to figure out why the enemy keeps pulling you down when you’re on your way up. Or maybe just maybe, you chose to stop trying because you’re fed up with landing in the same spot year after year. With all of that, maybe still isn’t good enough.

That enemy you keep referring to may need to take a long look in the mirror at the real silent killer. YOU cannot expect to move forward with those types of thoughts tripping you up from day to day. Yes, Satan will take the credit for nothing if you keep honoring him with your lack of drive, stick-to-it’ness and motivation. In this world we are all continually striving to get it right and make it in. Don’t let those silent thoughts cripple you from enjoying the best life you can have right here on earth, right now. It’s not only what you should do, but as a child of God, it’s what you’ve been told to do. Fight the good fight of faith, right here on earth and thank God for eveything that comes your way as a learning opportunity.

Silent Killers have sent many people to an early grave physically and spiritually. Don’t be the next victim. Get up and Fight back with the Word of God and Look around at others like myself, cheering you on!

All around us we are presented with various foundations like cement, concrete, brick and morter structures and the like. But the Lord wanted to impress upon us that these foundations shall pass away. In the beginning, founding fathers used words as a basis for the foundation of this great nation. And in the beginning was the WORD spoken by God that all things now are evident and attest to the Foundation of the World, Jesus Christ. When we make the declaration that Christ is Lord, it defines for the world WHO our foundation is not what it is. The chief cornerstone in Isaiah 28 is the ROCK of our salvation. Be careful not to build on hay, straw or sinking sand. In other words, don’t rely on your employment, material riches or man. It is written that man shall not live by bread alone but by every WORD that precedeth out of the mouth. Your words declare your foundation, make sure they glorify and edify Christ–The SOLID ROCK on which you stand.

Love and happiness is about fact and opinion. It is a fact that God is love. When someone defines happiness, it is their opinion of what happiness is. It is very important to distinguish between the two. Love nailed Jesus to the cross. Love snatched to keys from Satan. Love knows no evil. And love endures all things. Happiness changes from day to day. Happiness is selfish. Happiness is manipulative and happiness fades in and out. When you want to know what love is, look in the mirror. Through the eyes of faith you should see the righteousness of God. By the Spirit of God, you should hear joybells ringing in your soul. From your lips you should taste the sweetness of His grace and mercy. Your hands should be able to touch the hem of His garment for healing and restoration. And your nose should inhale His awesome anointing—this is the love that passes all understanding. And this is the Love that will MAKE you do right, even when wrong is present.

But what many miss in this text is that Jesus knew, “it was not time for figs, yet.”  So why did He look for figs knowing it wasn’t their season?

It is important to note here that the fig tree is an Old Testament symbol for Israel. And Jesus being the all-knowing one was using the “unproductive” tree as a teaching tool for His disciples. What was He teaching you ask? As you read on down in Mark 11, you’ll find Jesus expounding on faith, prayer and forgiveness. Jesus wanted us to be mindful of the curse only as a memorial for the days of old when Israel was unproductive. Today, the church must be fruitful in faith, prayer and forgiveness. We cannot just be pretty leaves flowing in the wind as hungry people pass by wondering, “Are you good….for nothing?”

Purge us, Purify us and Process us for your work in the land. We need you Lord. The CHURCH needs you Lord. We believe in the RESURRECTIVE power of your Holy Spirit. Shake us again. Call us from the deep and make us stand! It’s time for revival! In Jesus name, Amen!

All of the faith you need, if you BELIEVE, is within you. And yes, I’m talking about MOUNTAIN-MOVING FAITH! The kind of faith that puts Satan on the run. Faith that doesn’t ask but demands. Faith that speaks into existence those things you do not see with the naked eye. Yes, that kind of faith. Faith that opened blinded eyes and opens them today…faith that walked on water and walks out the impossible today…yes, that faith. I’m not asking you IF you want it, I’m telling you, YOU HAVE IT!!!

As an ambassodor of the gospel I must help you discover how to RELEASE faith and get it out there against the mountains where it belongs!!! This type of faith isn’t received from the laying on of hands, it’s received through effort and committment to the Word of God. At your new birth, you already received the FAITH of God—Halleluyah!! And as you grow and mature (from eating spiritual food), faith is produced the more. “So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God” (Romans 10:17). The biggest hinderance you will ever have after truly believing is in YOUR FLESH. The body is selfish, self-centered and desires to always be first. You must work to kill the flesh daily. It requires action on your part to allow the Spirit to be first. “Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead…” (James 2:17). I have seen some of the most spirit-filled men and women of God who BELIEVE the Word, but do not act accordingly, thus their inability to move mountains in their own life or the life of others.  Your body will do what it is trained to do.

So get every area in line with the Word of God. You have all of the faith you need to move mountains. It doesn’t matter how BIG or small the mountain because the Word of God is not a cliche–it’s POWER!

The atmosphere is right for followers to go along with the status quo and worry about the challenges of life from day to day but the atmosphere is also “just right” for innovative minds to speed up progress, be more competitive, launch new careers and embrace new perspectives. Hardy says, “The fundamental desire of an innovator is to help, serve and solve. Innovation is about constantly finding more ways to add value to the lives of other people.” Although coming up with new ideas is great, the key component of an innovator is his/her ability to implement those ideas. This is where many brilliant ideas die. Lack of follow through has killed many dreams, hopes and aspirations of innovative people. Lack of follow through has thousands of men and women working a traditional job, moving from state to state and singing “woe is me” songs because they can’t seem to make the idea (innovation) a reality.

The first step is always commitment. Too often our innovation is sidelined by our inability to commit for the long run. If the idea doesn’t produce results quickly enough, we bail. And when we bail, we commit innovation-suicide.  In life, just as in today’s economy, you will have to learn to weather the storm.  Study and learn from others like Noah and the Ark, Moses and Peter the Rock!!! If those don’t do it for you, take a note from Darren Hardy and study Daymond John- FUBU founder, Sean “P. Diddy” Combs or  the phenom Oprah.

Innovate or DIE, the choice is yours.

So this Mother’s Day appreciate your mother as I know you will and appreciate other mothers with a hug, a smile and an “I love you.” Clearly our mother’s come in an array of sizes, shapes and colors but their heart is identical for the love their child(ren).

And just in case your mother is not here, appreciate the fact that the love you feel when thinking about her is still present today. A mother’s love never fades. So from my family to yours: “HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY!”

I want you to wrap your brain around the FACT that what little you and I do will never be enough to thank the Lord for all He’s done for us—but we all can DO better. We all can serve Him better or start serving Him if we haven’t been. We all can share our testimony of how He’s brought us a mighty long way or how He’s allowed our little ol’ lights to shine in the company of others. I Can DO Better….BUT You Can DO Better Too.

Simple things like: (1) Praying before you eat (2) Praying when you wake up and lay down at night (3) attending church at least once a month or every Sunday (4) give just because you can give–of your time/your money/your services (5) acknowledge Christ during your day by smiling, taking the time to showforth compassion on others and listening to Godly music in your automobile/home (6) sharing the gospel with others and (7) choose NOT to be critical or to criticize. Let’s face it, it’s easy to see wrong but it takes someone willing to do and be better to be positive. Positivity is FAITH at WORK!

So I’m asking you to take a moment and Choose to DO Better for Christ. I’ve made the choice today. Will You?
